All I got to say is there isnt enough 10k check in cali tourney. Only downfall I see is the drawing for 10k.. I say after last weigh in all top weigh in angler got 3-4 hours to bring in there biggest catch.. that would make it 10x more exciting than a drawing

was there this past weekend.. the water was dirty and the wind certainly didn't help me much.. most fish seems to be outside the staging outside the weedline and biting on dark color lures.. though i did manage a couple flipping into tullies.. fish slow and bite were very light, almost undetectable ...

Sadly, it already has. I already sold the boat and currently fishing out of a small electric power pontoon boat the wifey bought for me for Fathers Day. It works well and gets me on the water.

in regards to fishing line for the delta.. in my personal opinion, i don't think it matters too much.. I've caught plenty of fish using straight braids to 25 lbs mono using senko.. i believe what matters to me is having a heavy line.. i generally use 20 lb flouro only in the delta.. i stay away from...

check your weight... any nick on the insert can and will cut through the braid line cleanly..
take some braid line and run it through your weights.. check to see if theres any kind of friction or resistance..

lol.. same thing happen to me at disappointment.. found the snake near the transom.. threw it out of the boat , but it still followed us.. it was quite funny now that i think about it.. had to turn the trolling motor on full just to get away.. i'm always careful going back to the rear deck nowadays ...
