i also noticed a large die off of the Poplar trees along the East side of lil mandy - these trees are natures riparian holders. with the trees dieing off, i imagine the roots are no longer strongly holding the rip rap together.

My Toyota has a button to lock the diff, it works great perfect for a 2x4 when you need to get a lil extra to the drive train. IMHO, its no 4x4 but for ramps it works great.

Delta Craw Speed Trap, LC BDS 3 and BDS4 is also right up there. I dont care for the circuit board square bills, too much flex especially in the grass. For Clear Lake the Big Poppa is a great square bill.

This site used to freely and openly share detailed information. Over the years as it has grown guys started getting pissed that someone would give up the goods or that poachers would bang up the lakes.

Yes, trout and Kokanee - but in the summer they tend to start going deeper. A dropshot with a watermelon red zoom drop shot worm or baby brushhog will get bit toward the back of coves. They may not be huge but they are effective, I prefer teaching kids with a drop shot or senko.

Always tough, if those marks aren't toward the bottom I'm moving on. We've all seen holes loaded with fish marks without a bite.

Things to try, wadda jig, dropshot :shock: underspin and flick shake. But really move on and check em when the tide starts moving
