Re: Favorite Jig & Why?
I for one LOVE Jigs!! I've always liked jigs that have an enclosed eye and now that pretty much EVERYONE is making them its easy to find in stores, used to not be that way. I have all my jigs poured for me for a fraction of the price you can buy them anywhere else, and they're to my specs...would po...

I have the new Citicas on all my rods as of now but saw this new Shimano and was curious if its comp to the Citicas...size, shape, etc. Looks to be the same, little less weight and cheaper bux.
I think the Citicas are the best bang for the buck as of right now.

I had the luxury of fishing Clarks Hill (qualified for a BFL Regional), missed qualifying for the BFL All-American championship by 1 fish. Phenominal Lake! Skeet is on FIRE and I think he's pretty much "sealed the deal" for the AoY!

Another example of "not caring" is in the Mid-West and East Coast...If it is a "water res" then the #1 main concern is providing water for power/drink. Case in point is Buggs Island (Kerr) in Virginia, they have been fluxuating the water level so much that the fish probably will ...

"USA made" is one of the reasons I went with Falcon this time...even though I know of the "components reality".
Most all rods on the market are "good" nowadays...just us fisherman doing our research before we lay down the dough.

Re: Ideal rod for hard jerkbaits?
Everyone has there own preference of brand, length, action, etc. Like the above post said, Eastcoast guys tend to use shorter rods, I'm one of them. I use Falcons exclusively. For regular jerks I use a Cara T7 Jerkbait rod (6'5") and for the larger sizes (Pointer 128's and larger) I use a Cara ...

I researched a lot before making my final decision on the Citica E's and I'm VERY HAPPY with them, I have 6 of them. I was browsing the Skeeter website and have a question about the Graphs "in" the consoles...what Graph is in the console of the yellow 20 I Class?
It looks like a "big screen graph" (Old Lowrance version). Can anyone tell what it is or what size fits in those 20 I Class'?

Here's some easy cures for moisture in your boxes: (1) Take small bag and put baking soda in it, put some holes in it with a pin. (2) Place a small stick of chalk in the box. (3) Use small moisture packs (from inside) packing boxes, ceiling fans, pockets of clothing, etc. All three have worked for m...

Was wondering what your opinions where of using the Curado 300e as a swimbait reel? No baits larger than say...original BBZ-1. I know the "go-to" reel is the Calcutta 400 but was told the 300e was made for swimbaits and it would be easier for me because of the low profile.
