I have a question about this. Why didn't they take the fish to a certified scale? I understand it is not leagal to transport live game fish but If I had a possible world record I would take it. Had buddy tell me that he got a Ling Cod under the Highway 5 bridge. He said when he cut it open it had a salmon fry in it's belly so I guess we'll have to eradicate the Ling Cod species now. 8) I doubt it. I'm in the process of selling my 20 year old Ranger. Does the selling price I list on the owner release/pink slip affect the buyer? I'm too used to the standard cable-steered Minn Kotas and MotorGuides I've had on my boat and whenever I fish on friends' boats with electric-steered motors, it just feels weird. They seem to take forever to react, whereas cable-steering gives pretty much instantaneous direction changes.
