FBT While you’re looking at clubs check out FBT, Folsom Bass Team. I’ve been in the club two years ....good bunch of guys and meet monthly. Usually at the monthly tournaments we have 15 to 20+ boats. We fish local, delta, Clearlake, Berryessa, Oroville, Amador, Comanche…usually have monthly speakers...

There is a product made by zappau called wicked ball. They come in 3 different weights and they easily screw over and on to the treble hook. Can be taken off or changes in seconds. the cost is great
you can get two for half the cost of one power poll and they don’t stick up when your backing into the garage and no batteries or hydraulics and they are lite

lost one each...one was a Hud and one was a Ali-Baby ( the Ali Baby was a floater so i did get it back)
both on braid
one snaped at the reel and the other was the line....
someone told me that somtimes braid gets kinked and that will cause it to loop and break?

not sure how expensive surgical tubing is or where you find it but I use tubing I get at wilderness archery in Rocklin. It’s called peep sight tube and it smaller. I use in a similar fashion but I also use it to slide it up and over swivels when making a donkey rig. Keeps things from getting tangled...
