Selling an 1987 Evirude 200 HP, low compression but have what i think is a fresh rebuilt extra power head that would go with it. You will just have to swap it. Motor comes complete with a 6” hydraulic jack plate and stainless prop.

I caught a lot of smallies in the Sac River Around Isleton also in Georgiana Slough. Dart Heads, Jigs, crancks and Spinnerbaits all worked. I like targetting vertical structure.

Mercury XR4 150 on a Ranger 350 V 18', no Jack plate. Right now I'm Running a Quick Silver Laser II 24 pitch 3 blades. Would 4 blades be beter. It seems I dont get as good a hole shot nor top speed (45 mph).
Think I maight need a Jack plate?
Any Ideas?

I use the 6 # on my spinning gear for Folsom, great line to cope with all the rocks in Folsom. Also use 12# and 10# for general aplications Where you normally would throw mono. A little stiff so, I've switching to Pline.

I use the BMF hook that has barbs and superglue the beaver to the eye and shank/barbs. Eventually, it goes down, but not after a lot of casts.

Ok, after going everywhere and trying a lot of different reels, I settle with the accurist 500 pt. Seems very solid and it's got a flip switch which i think could be a big advantage, it fits confortably in my hand as suppose to a round reel. for a $100 think is a great deal...Time will tell.
