Re: Boat Stolen on the Delta

What a sad situation, i know you are heart broken. I remember when Cooch's boat was stolen and the stripped hull was found. Does anyone have ideas on how to secure a boat when leaving it in a slip over night? I know thieves will get it if they really want it. But something that slows them down or wo...

By the way, the bite is hot! Lot's of numbers with the occasional good 'un tossed in. For a while today if I went 4 or 5 five casts without a bite I was disappointed! And it was my first time on the lake.

Rod, Are you anchoring the pedal in place or leaving it loose to move around? Seems you could just get some longer bolts to put in the front pedal holes with a nut on either side, Then you can move the nuts up and down the bolt until you find the position that is comfortable. If you are anchoring it...

When are you planning on fishing it? As previous post stated, it does fish tough when muddy. Favorite go to bait for me is a BPS Avocado Tender Tube on a 1/4 oz jig head. Jigs also work as do spinnerbaits, cranks and chatter baits once the fish move up into the top 15 feet. Once spring comes around ...

With lower water levels there is less water to support the fishery and competition for food is increased. J...

I have been told by people with decades of experience with concrete: "There are only two kinds of concrete, concrete that is cracked and concrete that is going to crack." (Kinda like outboard motors!) Hopefully they will seal any cracks and closely monitor for the future.

I think live well capacity, in terms of number of fish, is dependent on the time of year, temperature of water and how long you plan to have the fish in there. So, it depends. I have seen live well capacity expressed in terms of water capacity and the number and flow of the pumps supporting it. Pat
