That instrument looks like a nasal speculum. Should work if the right size. Can get on Amazon or a medical supply store. I asked the EBay vendor and that is exactly what those pliers are! https://www.amazon.com/Grafco-2805-Vienna-Nasal-Speculum/dp/B000FSIX7E/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1518137770&am...

When are you planning on fishing it? As previous post stated, it does fish tough when muddy. Favorite go to bait for me is a BPS Avocado Tender Tube on a 1/4 oz jig head. Jigs also work as do spinnerbaits, cranks and chatter baits once the fish move up into the top 15 feet. Once spring comes around ...

Where to start....ill post a more intelligible response when I can sit down. For now...everyone keep and eat a few fish. Your fisheries management depends on it. I absolutely agree with this. With lower water levels there is less water to support the fishery and competition for food is increased. J...

I have been told by people with decades of experience with concrete: "There are only two kinds of concrete, concrete that is cracked and concrete that is going to crack." (Kinda like outboard motors!) Hopefully they will seal any cracks and closely monitor for the future.

A group of 18 of us was on Shasta for 4 days mid May and I agree the bite was crazy. 50 fish days were common. Most of our fish came on soft plastics with the Ned rig being the bait of the week. Color or jig weight did not seem to matter as long as it hit the water. Fish were from the bank out to 15...

I think live well capacity, in terms of number of fish, is dependent on the time of year, temperature of water and how long you plan to have the fish in there. So, it depends. I have seen live well capacity expressed in terms of water capacity and the number and flow of the pumps supporting it. Pat
