I just park in the parking lot anywhere. I went to hit it up recently but there was like 40mph winds always gotta make sure to check the wind conditions prior. ill pm ya next time i hit it up.

no current i don't think the pumps were running thats the one thing i was worried and nervous for. I don't think you would have to worry. It is a good little lake though I suggest anyone in the area to give it a shot.

I guess like most things, it depends on what you want to spend? Calcutta D is way out of my price range. I have had good luck with a Shimano Cardiff 300 size. Its a round reel, but the 300 size has a recessed foot so its easier to palm(400 does not). The 300 size holds plenty of line for using 20-2...
