Is Color important for Bass Fishing?

I've heard so many different schools of thought on color. Some say it's not important that it's presentation. Others swear by it.

What's your thoughts? I think I could be persuaded either way.

Idaho Bass Fishing

Had a great evening crushing some big bass on frogs out at Lake Lowell. This place is awesome. If you haven't made it out here, put it on your bass fishing destination stop for Idaho. Here is a link to the spots I fished and did really well: http://www.krakenbass.com/lake-lowell-bass-fishing/ Couple...

Lake Mohave AZ Reports?

I'm heading out to Lake Mohave in a couple weeks at the end of the month. Curious if anyone has fished the place and could point me in the right direction on bait choices, and colors for that lake. Plus, any structure that seems to be valuable to key on to find those bass! I'm looking forward to fis...

Neko Rig - Must Try!

I experimented with the Neko Rig this year, and was really impressed. It has tremendous action, and landed me some bigger sized bass. I personally used the rig the most with a 5" senko. Senko's worked great on this set up. Here's a YouTube video on what it looks like in the water and how to set...

Jika Rig - Worth a shot?

I was really skeptical about the jika rig until I tied one on. It was a really good bass magnet! I caught some really good fish on it. Plus, they were on the bigger side of the scale. It's really pretty simple to set up. Here is a solid youtube video on how to get yourself going, and it also shows w...

Re: Lake Mead in Nov/Dec

I fish down in southern utah a lot, and have done decent at mead. The fish are hard to find sometimes. The best thing to do is just cover a lot of water. I would use spinnerbaits. In classic shad colors, white is always good. Probably hands down the best bait to throw at mead. If you can find some g...
