Re: Ca delta senko set up question?

powell inferno 725 paired with a lews super duty 7:1 reel works great for pitching or skipping texas rigged or wacky senkos on 17lb P-line tactical flouro

ITs all preference, however for me it depends on the weight im using, 1oz and up im using a 766 or 806 any thing below 765, im a short guy so i like shorter sticks, but for punchin you cant go wrong with an 806. Jigs and texas 765

Re: Unprecedented Clear Lake Fish Die-Off: Dead fish islands about the size of three football fields.

Clearlake is getting destroyed by all the pelleting. It's obvious. I don't see why powers that be can't see that they are destroying the ecosystem. Ive never seen it like this in the 40 plus years I've been going up to Clearlake since I was a kid. If they don't stop the pelleting, they will ruin th...

I'm using pretty much the same setup as you--Powell Frog Rod with a Phat Frog (hooks bent slightly outward). No problem walking it, it's just on the cast where it comes back and hooks the line. 20lb leader solves that problem, but not crazy about 20lb leader tied to 65lb braid. As a side note: I em...

The 766 Flip is my personal Flipping rod choice. It has enough tip for pitching smaller baits but has plenty of power for any type of punching. It's a great flippin stick. I would not use for frog rod or jig rod. We have far better choices for these techniques. The 766 is a great flippin stick but ...
