Re: CastaicLake will be closed

Here I am 3rd in line to be led through by the sheriff. That never happened as we eventually were turned around after sitting and watching it unfold for 2 hours. I then had to hit the coast and travel 8 hrs back to Sac. It was pretty hairy when it jumped the freeway and came on our side. I was about...

Re: Ranger boat PROBLEMS

I thought I would chime in on my experience: I purchased a VS1670 in 2018. It’s the 50th anniversary edition and while I’m very happy with the boat overall, there is one major gripe I have. One of the selling points for me was the “track system” that allowed for plug and play for things like rod hol...

How come all the guys that talk about how socially distant fishing is never mention the gas stations and the snack shops, and the bathrooms and every other place that you want to stop or have to stop at when you go fishing? They use gloves soap water mask and sanitizer Same as going to the grocery ...

Thanks for the report. I was out on Saturday and Sunday. I launched from South Shore on Saturday early and only had one bite on a jig with a sweet beaver in some submerged brush at less than 4 ft. It was a decent fish at 3.5lbs. I couldn't get any other bites on Senkos or crankbaits. Sunday I took t...

Re: Three Rods for The Delta

3 rods are easier than 3 baits. Baits would be a spinnerbait, Senko, and Creature bait (many choices here for flippin) Rods would be 735C- spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, buzzbaits, frogs, Senkos, pitching (I like a bit heavier powered rod for Delta) 766 Flip- Flippin and Punchin ( lots of guys use an 8...

We need to discuss this folks, as this is actually more important than fishing. What in the hell is going on with all of these boating accidents nationwide? Thanks for the responses. It looks like standard wait time on a custom order is 8-10 weeks. No harm no foul. While I wish the dealer had told me that in the beginning, it really is not a big deal. Thanks again WB!
