how do you go about repairing a gel coat gouge with a pinstripe running right through the middle of it?

I was out at Lopez yesterday and we marked a million fish. They were all in 20-60 foot of water and most were not holding to structure. We marked plenty of bait as well. Well I got out of my slump guys. I down sized line and fished the front side of a low pressure system we had close to a 40 fish day between 2 people. All of them were small spots but it boosted the confidence a bit.
