Striper Help
Hey, I was looking for some tips on striper fishing. Are they hitting topwater still? What kind of areas should I be looking for? What type of baits are productive? I haven't really targeted stripers before and was wondering if they can be found inside of Mildred this time of year? Anything helps. T...

Re: Accessing Little Franks?
On the farthest up opening, closest to Russo's marina, there is a small gap that lets you get in on low tide. It's on the far right, and if you get your boat right up against the tulle clump you can usually get in fine without your trolling motor. I generally just use my trolling motor cus I fish th...
Re: Swim bait

Re: Delta Discussion
Im actually the polar opposite, for me low tide is a struggle and high tide lets me fish how I want to. on a high tide I look for tule points and areas with isolated cover. On a high tide you should be thinking about ambush fish. This is when they get right up against the tules, and position themsel...

Re: Chatterbaits - Delta
90% of my chatter bait fishing is done with a green pumpkin/bluegill pattern with a 4.8 keitech on the end. Ik people throw other baits, but this set up has done the best for me. As for location, my favorite place to throw it is in the grass. Its easily the most weedless grass reaction bait availabl...

Re: Yamamoto zako
I was not impressed, i bet there is a time when that little kick is needed, but for the most part they didn't last long and didn't make a noticeable difference to my chatter bait fishing. I still prefer a big keitiech on the end.
