Re: Boat carpet

Nice Work. Looks Great.

My 97 Viper is probably due, and since I've had only a little experience with glue all over the hands I already know I would like someone else to do it for me! Hopefully where ever I get it done does as nice of a prep and finish job as you have done.

Daniel, Check out local clubs. It's probably the best way to get started. You learn how to be a back seater, you learn many different techniques, and you also have a lot of fun meeting new people and building camaraderie. Typically very low monthly dues and then share the cost at tournaments. I thin...

For what it's worth after reading all the other posts. I run a 97 Viper 188D (19'). The boat itself is probably as solid as anything built today. MinnKota 101 Maxim $150

It's a good unit, but could probably use a tune up.
It does need a new foot switch, the one in it works but it's starting to get bad.
36 Volt Unit, 42" shaft.

Make me a deal! Willing to trade.

It's not the V shape wakes you have to worry about with the big boats or Cargo Ships. It's the perpendicular wakes that occur after it has gone by. With polarized glasses on these are really hard to see and you could be doing 30+ MPH when you hit these and you will suddenly find yourself in the air.

Do Trolling Motors degrade overtime

I have an older Minnkota Maxxum 101 with very new batteries. Over time it seems like I'm just not getting the same pull from the motor as I once did.

Do they get old, or need parts replaced over time?

Everything already written as well. Great for the family.

does anyone else get strange looks though in summer. They either think that's odd or they're jealous.
