300 size reel, no braid and dont waste your money on a custom built rod. They are all just chopped phenix blanks with pretty wrapping

Lake powell

Just wondering if any one has the scoop on Lake Powell. We are doing 7 days on a house boat out of wahweap, I will be bringing the bass boat to do some fishing. I'm thinking about heading up to Bullfrog to chase bass around there but I really have no idea where to start.

Thanks T

5-18 Delta report

Launched at B and W around 530 with a good high tide, we then ran up river a few miles and started fishing the main river throwing frogs and senkos. It was bitting great with the occasional better fish until we ran into this skinny girl, which went 8lbs even. As soon the the tide fell out so did the...

Re: Ranger 390v question

I do have a manual jack plate and didn't consider the option of the spot lock trolling motors. I'm just wondering how long the transom will last because I do like the boat and would rather put a little money in to make it last another 20 years

Ranger 390v question

I've been playing with the idea of eventually going to a new transom and then adding a talon on the old boat. Overall the boat is in amazing shape and the transom is solid as well, I just worry about putting the extra weight back there. Any thoughts, opinions or experience with restoring an old boat?...

The bluefin have been around the last 3 years starting March. They were just the 200 pound plus grade of fish, so the sporties couldn't target them. The local guys in the know absolutely crushed it.
