The TotalScan transducer should be in the list of transducers. I wouldn't order the wedge until you get everything dialed in.

Re: total scan transducer mounting

That's great but, if you find yourself losing bottom at speed, you might want to try one of the wedges from Transducer Shield and Saver. Mount it between the transducer and the plate.

What do you mean by 'activate' the transducer?

URGENT READ! Guys I was mistaken on this post (thinking different brand boat).......IF you try to mount the TotalScan transducer to the transom you MUST keep it above the 'high speed' waterline and that sort of defeats the purpose of the TotalScan xdcr. The problem with the Z series is that portion...

Re: Nitro z18 elite ti 7 transducer location

So these TotalScan xdcr's are somewhat of a pain to install properly. It can be successfully mounted on the transom on the starboard side. The key is to NOT use the screws that come with the package because the will not hold that big transducer at high speeds. You must use #10 x 1.25" stainless...

Looks like your map drawing is off and not the GPS. Your known accuracy is 'within 20 feet'.

Re: Transducer Type question

Yes...I'm sorry but your invoice is correct...I meant PDT not PDRT. Moving on, do you see the temp sensor on the transom? If so, then your selection of the PDRT-WBL is the correct choice and your temp will be from the remote sensor.

Sorry for the confusion.

Both of your 9's will auto recognize the LSS-2. On your shoot-thru look for the PD-WBL. If you have the correct xdcr and not the PDRT-WBL. PDRT has water temp and PD does not, so, units will now get water temp from LSS-2. If you do have PDRT-WBL you would need to pull the correct pin from the connec...

You likely don't have much of a file to d/l since the internal memory of the HDS is very small. You should record sonar logs DIRECTLY to your SD card. Try uploading the file with the FREE Insight Genesis upload tool to the IG site.
