Re: Central Coast Lakes

Fished Lopez last saturday. Bite was pretty good. Water was just above 62 degrees. Caught 4 large mouth all on weightless wacky rigged Senko. all around 2.5-4 lbs. Also got a really nice Small mouth on a square bill crank. Cover is really cool right now with all the vegetation in the water.

Re: Central Coast Lakes

I will be hitting Lopez tomorrow. Hoping the water has cleared up from the rains. Not sure what the water temp will be, hoping it is above 60. The shorelines are pretty cool right now because the lake was so low that the shore grew lots of vegetation and now that the water has gone up a lot of it is...

Re: Helix 5 SI - which Navionics Plus product to purchase?

The us and canada comes pre loaded with the entire US and Canada data on it. (approx 7GB of data, which is why is needs the 16GB card) When i tried using this on my Helix 5 i had issues. (the GPS map would keep disappearing and then showing back up and disappearing again) I found a thread on another...

Re: Casitas management proposed plan to fill the lake

I was crafting a similar plan for lake Lopez. Being a small reservoir, it should be easy. We will bring the water in on 5,000 gallon tanker trucks. in order to fill the lake to 100% it will only require that we unload 1 tanker truck into the lake per second for 26.19 days! that's only 86,400 tanker ...

Re: Why no Side imaging without GPS?

That seems weird though because they offer down view without gps, and from everything I have read online, Side imaging is more useful than down view in most cases.

Why no Side imaging without GPS?

Why is there no unit on the market that offers side imaging WITHOUT gps? There are plenty that offer down imaging without GPS/mapping. I would really like to have side imaging on my next unit but have no need and don't want to pay for GPS. I'm just looking for a unit with traditional Sonar + DI and ...

Re: MARINE OIL PRICES

Is it necessary to run that ridiculously expensive optimax oil or is it just a gimick to suck more money out of you?

Re: Bassmaster Classic | Link to Live Weigh-In

Feed works fine for me. The live coverage earlier was awesome.

Tough fishing today. My Total tournament weight guess is going to be way over unless they really start to slay them tomorrow and Sunday. The water was quite a bit Murkier than normal and still only in the mid to high 40's.

Re: BBT-Coastal Region UPDATE LAKE CHANGE

kinda bummed about this. Not that there is anything wrong with Naci.

Looks like the forecast changed and we should be getting rain this next week. Hopefully the level at Lopez will come up some.
