No warranty, I put a few hours on it since rebuild and she runs fantastic. Yes the Hull is rated for a 225.

In my experience the fuel pumps start to go out extremely quickly. It happened to the last 2 Evenrudes I had, including the 04' (same motor as yours) I have right now. Swap out the fuel pump, new spark plugs, fuel filter and I bet it will fix any issues your having.
