I think it's a personal choice but I'm with g-man on this one. If your gut says to put on red hooks go for it. It won't hurt. if it builds your confidence it might even generate a few more bites. But, I'm of the opinion that presentation is what will get bit on hardbaits, not the hook color.

The blizzards in Colorado recently weren't pimple on Katrina's *** in terms of distruction, death(over 1000+ people DIED) and devistation. To post a comparison of the two is an insult to the thousands upon thousands of people that lost there loved ones and EVERYTHING they owned. Way to go.

Damn thats a tough one..if your talking fishing in general and not limited to bass fishing I would say Baffin Bay on the Texas Gulf coast for HUGE light tackle red fish. Second would be for Lake Erie Smallmouth or Go with Paul off Miami. I seen the pics of his last trip and that looks pretty epic.

1 @ coyote a few years back and was never able to find any info through dfg regarding the tag. It had a 408 area code phone number that came up dead too. Actually what you saw were Damsel flys. I have seen some larger fish mixed in on the flats when this bite is going on too.The smaller fish load up on em this time of year. More so in the forebay than the big lake but it is common at both impoundments.
