Check out the Powell 711 SBRH. It will handle all of your larger swimbait and wakebaits. It will take a lot of the fatigue out of throwing those larger baits.

Powell 764c Endurance. Its got the back bone to handle that bait and dive the hook home, with just the right amount of tip to let them eat it. As far as the reel you cant go wrong with a Shimano Curado in your choice of gear ratio.

This is going to be something totally different. I personally have never fished that part of the river for Bass. The possibility of catching all three species in a totally new environment is really exciting. With the Delta being on day two you've got a legitimate chance to win right till the end.

Ive always prefered graphite cranking rods because they are usually lighter and more sensitive. The composite rods have changed my opinion on this, they really seem to be the best of both worlds. I still prefere graphite for top water because its more responsive and allows me to work those baits mor...

Well the rules for that tournament say that you must give fifty yards to other competitors. If your 80-100 yards than your well within the rules to fish that area.
