Doesn't sound like a tragedy, sounds like manslaughter to me. Sounds like the tournament participant was driving at an excessive speed for conditions. This is gross negligence! No wonder many insurance companies will not insure bass boats.

The lake was rising today but rainfall usually doesnt have a big impact. Fishing sucked.. They will put a cable on your boat when you leave but you can ONLY fish castaic, You show up with a pyramid tag or no tag and its inspection and possible 10 day wait. And they make you dry out your livewell be...

I believe they inspect at 6am. Yes, they band when you leave. Be sure your drain plug is out when you arrive. You can go to their website and print out an inspection form so you can complete that ahead of time. Be careful of ice on the roads.
