I had a 98 EFI pretty much the same symptoms, changed out a bunch of components and each time thought the thing was fixed, run fine then bog down at WOT, this went on for about 6 months. wound up a piston had been siezing up and causing my problem, finally threw a rod through the block behind the ue...

Re: Boat Trailer Axle Sheared Off Trailer
For sure there are a lot of torsion axles on the road, I have seen several fail for different reasons, just a suggestion but whether you opt for a new trailer or repair on yours, go with a multiple leaf spring set up that is rated at least 1000# heavier than your load. for most bass boats that would...

I would sure think your insurance will cover all the expenses less deductible, as far as the repair on your trailer a decent welding shop should be able to put a new axle assy and repair any frame damage. shouldn't be too bad on cost, I repaired a tandem last year that the same thing happened to, ax...

If you can get to San Antonio prior to the weekend rain they wiil tag your boat and that is also good at Naci. If not the inspections are fairly eazy if you have been on any of the local lakes for last launch, plug out clean and dry live wells and I would think the inspector would take any wet trail...

Most likley you have a cartridge style pump and could be as simple as a plugged impellor. twist out the top of the unit generally a quarter turn lift out the cartridge and check for some obstruction. If thats not it check the 2 wire connector going into the pump, sometimes they manage to come apart....

Need to know a bit more info, 7K should scatter your 200 bad, sounds like maybe a wrong setting on your tach. 65mph on most 200 hp motor/boat combos comes around 5800 rpm with a 24/25p prop. check the little rotary screw on the back of your tach, probably on the wrong pulse

You won't go wrong with a 25P tempest, great out of the hole and with the right height on the motor you can expect to see 65+ top end Don't be afraid to set that motor up about the 2nd or 3rd hole but that is something you will have to toy with a bit as your load is a major factor in how it preforms...
