Funny I should read this post. I was just getting ready to call the Assessors office this morning to ask about my increase as well. I'm not well versed on how the unsecured property tax rate is predicated, so time to learn. Mine went up $43. Not going to break the bank but I'm just curious now.

Don't know about the power pole brackets, but you'd probably be best served by talking to an informed person from Ranger or a Ranger dealer who could explain which might be best suited for your boat. If I'm not mistaken, most of the factory boats although they use Atlas plates tend to utilize 8"...

Re: Need help & feedback on deciding between Stratos and Ranger boat
So I've owned two Stratos boats, a 285 ProXl with a 175 Evinrude motor. It performed well in all situations considering it's length. Never a problem with the boat for the 11 years I owned it. The motor was a different story. Having known others who owned a Stratos helped me decide on purchasing it. ...

Quaggas do not apply to Kayaks in Lake County at this time; Unless the kayak is trailered or has a gas powered motor. Electric trolling motors on a kayak do not require a sticker either.

Dave, when your livewells are operating properly that's all fine. But how is recirculating 90+ degree water for the day compare to pumping in oxygen? Some fishermen don't seem to understand that it isn't the water temp alone that is the cause. It's because there is no oxygen in the high temp water. ...

Just as an aside, I've owned 2 Bob's Jackplates. Both have been perfect. The first on a Stratos that I sold with the boat. My current one on a Ranger Z521c. Oxygenators supply just that....pure oxygen. They will do more for fish in livewells than the constant battle to recirculate, adding rejuvenate or ice to the livewell. When the livewell temps go upwards of 90 degrees an oxygenator can do what nothing else can. If you don't have one, it's simple to b...
