Re: Hook 5 Downscan HDI Transducer Installation on TM

Re: Hook 5 Downscan HDI Transducer Installation on TM

I received a reply from the Lowrance website and the tapered nose faces forward on this transducer. The flat end is the back of the transducer. This is the reverse of what is shown on the trolling motor bracket instructions.

Hook 5 Downscan HDI Transducer Installation on TM

I'm installing this transducer on my trolling motor (sorry about the sideways pic, don't know how to rotate it). Does the flat end of the transducer face forward or towards the rear of the trolling motor? The instructions that came with the trolling motor mount shows the flat face of the transducer ...

Hey guys, checking in as one of the original Nutcases. So cool to see some of the old timers also checking in. Good ole days, for sure!

sTony, Although I haven't been active in quite a long time, some of my fondest memories were with you and the Nutcases. Although its been from a distance, I've watched you take NCBF from where it was at your first Nutcase Classic at Amador to where its become, an established, well respected and very...

Its been suggested that I upgrade to the MG Tour Series Digital 82# 24v model but just don't know if I want to spend the $800+. I'm not a tournament fisherman, just fish for fun so I ...

Greg's website

Hey Wolfeman,

Remember me? Long time no see. Hope all is well. Anyway, here's Greg's website. Greg's a great guy and very approachable. If you get a chance to talk to him, tell him I said hello and good luck. Enjoy the tourney and show!
