Any type of vessel that is powered other than human powered is required to have CF #s, registration, and a mussel sticker if used in fresh water.

Your fuel/oil costs will go up about 4X. The value of each rig is probably about the same currently but I would expect the Nitro to depreciate at a faster rate then your Xpress in the future. You're probably aware of these things. You will probably get more info at Bassboatcentral under the Nitro fo...

I just spent 10 days at Clear Lake. Fishing was good at times and not so good at others. With all the tournaments the fish were cautious. Seemed like if you wanted to get a reaction bite the bait had to be moving fast so they didn't have time to think and inspect. My biggest fish the entire time was...

If you want the baddest outboard out there then go with an Evinrude G2. Not sure if they still have the 10 year warranty promo going. I bought mine from Jet-A-Marina in Kentucky. Have it shipped to Jeremy at C&C in Sacramento and he will rig it right. I'm guessing you will get quoted around $16K...

My day 3 AM for the Pedro WWBT stayed there. He didn't say anything negative about the place but if you look at the reviews on Trip Advisor they're pretty bad. The Suites in the pics look pretty nice. I wouldn't be surprised if their lower priced rooms were dumps so be careful if you book.

Evidently nothing has to be done out here. With the exception of a couple lakes that have far too many small spotted bass the fishing in Northern CA is excellent. I'm guessing the best bass lake in Arkansas is no better then New Melones or Don Pedro.

You can probably do that trip on $1500 or so. Sleep in a tent and make your lunch. It will be so much more rewarding in the end if you do it all on your own. You don't need more tackle or amenities. Go down there and kick there butt doing what you guys do. Keep it simple and it will happen.

I generally always try to throw it weightless. If the tide is moving good then I position the boat so its facing in the current and I let the current bring my bait into the isolated cover. Cast it far enough past the cover and the senko will get pushed by the current and fall down into the cover. I ...

I use usually throw it wacky style with a small 1/0 or 2/0 hook on a casting rod with 15# fluoro.
