Re: Cooch's services Today 11/18

I called Jody for info on Cooch right after I made my post. I then realized that Cooch had passed the month before and I'd been in Texas almost that whole month. I missed US Open because of it. I'm sick about losing Cooch. I'll forever remember his voice and our pranks ...when the Bass-turd :) seeme...

Guys I'm shocked. I had no idea Cooch had passed. I feel terrible about this. Cooch and I had a lot of pranks over the years. Re: Flipping/Pitching Rod Length

I pitch a lot with Flippin stick that I love. Champion 766Flip I can flip, pitch, or even Punch with it. I will say that a LOT of anglers prefer to pitch with a 7'3" rod and find it easier to handle. We make a Champion 736C that's awesome. It has enough tip to pitch easy but with Ex-Fast tip it...

If looking for an all around bass rod I'll also recommend something in 7'3" in length. This is just a great length for the last 8-10 years. Before that it was 6'6" to 7'. Depending on what baits you'd like to fish the most with this rod, it would help determine my recommendation. Please fe...

Chad, This bait is only 7/16oz . I think a true SB rod is too much. Our guys here in the shop are throwing the Sierra 735C for this bait. The Sierra is slower in action as a Fast Action instead of the Champ 735C that's really an X-Fast Action. I'd recommend a Sierra 735C for sure. The DC 794SB is an...

Most generally low pressure means a better bite and a high pressure a tougher bite. Once it’s high for a few days the affect is minimal. Low going to a high sucks. No perfect answer here because situations are different. But, giving them slack would always be my last resort and I can't ever remember doing this. Many anglers don't realize that pointing the rod at the fish eliminates the flex in the rod and gives you a LOT more pulling power. If the fish is hook...
