I just used Holiday Harbor last Friday it wasn't my first choice of ramps but it was accessable. It does dip to the passenger side as your backing in so stay as straight as possible lots of green alge in there also.

I took a plug knocker added more chain on it for gripping the hooks put 200 lb test line/rope on the reel got close to 70 ft on it. placed the reel on a old reel seat from a cheap wal mart pole from days long ago. The mountain carp are bitting pretty goodright by the ramp. The water is low 171 ft down from full the lake came up 9ft over the week end from the storm the thursday (1/22) water temp was 54-55 in the lower part with fish in the 30 to 60 ft range on main points good luck

wool half finger have my vote. Ive tried others but dont care for them. I dont mind it if my hands are cold because thats part of fishing in the winter I just dont like them freezing cold. Wool even when wet will help keep them warmer than no glove on. When running i use the seal skin gloves

Hey whazup I think your making it more difficult than it needs to be. The tide is going to dictate the depht and location of the fish more than the falling pressure. I have caught solid fish out of water less than 2ft deep. The barometric pressure that is raising is the one that I pay more attention...

thanks, I was looking at tackel wharehouse and they have a Yo-zuri fluorocarbon thats listed as 100% fluorocarbon named H20. I also use the Yo-zuri Hybrid and like it also. I'm happy to here that about Vicious.

I beleave it will make a differnce in clear water. I've played around with power pro with the first 6ft or so black with bed fish on the mother lode lakes, not only am I able to see it 10 ft down but they can to. I'm a little latye on this one but hands down T N T Baits, the Wadda jig for the Delta, Arkey casting jig for the lakes and the Football for the lakes last two are custome ties but worth it.
