Hi Marty I think you are right, Also it could be done simply by having entry fees at seperate levels with a first place thru 20th place payback at each level. That way the guys fishing at the lower entry fee could decide whether they were ready to compete at the higher compitition level. And at leas...

Tournament fees are based on what the tournament organization needs for the cost that is incurred by them to pay a profit to the organization.. Without the profit motive there is really no point in the organization putting on the tournament in the first place. The way to decide how much should be ch...

The long and the short of prop13
The thing that got prop 13 passed in the first place was that many people were being taxed out of their property. Not everyone has a nice retirement that will allow them to travel and to do a lot of other things that are done by those who have a good financial situation. There were a high percentage...

I got nailed by the mussel police at Clearlake. Since that happened I was told by a fisher biologist that quaggas can't survive in winter water temperatures in northern California. I'm wondering if any of you can confirm or discredit what I was told

My boat is a 2006 and the trailer has been hit 3 times my previous boat was a 2001 and that trailer was hit a few times too. No one ever fessed up.
Obviously there are a lot of people out there who simply dont know how to drive pulling their own vehicles while pulling a trailer

Re: How many rod/reel combo's do you own?
I have 38 bass rods. 15 are bait casters and the rest are spinning rods. My rod locker holds 15 rods still allowing reasonably quick access. I usually have 4 or 5 rigged with what I think is going to be my best choice for catching fish. I do that so that if I break off or loose a bait I dont need to...

In a perfect world that might work Jim. There is know way that you could dump the fish without some one knowing. Since so many people are following the release boat and some tournament orgs pass out that info. I really dont think that knowledge should be public or available...
