Here is the deal. These things have been sitting in my garage for too long. All parts are free. You just have to come get them. What doesn't go will get recycled in a couple weeks.

Hotel inquiry for Ladds
I'll be staying in Stockton for 3 nights for a tournament out of Ladds. I have never been there and was hoping I could get some advice on where to stay. Interested in good security, proximity to the marina and the ability to charge the batteries. Thanks in advance.

Casino yesterday said they did have one room with one king bed. didn't want to go that route with my partner. I opted to reserve a spot in the rv park. Excellent place to stay and cheap. The road is dirt but in good condition. Drove on it yesterday with no problems. Allow extra time to allow for tra...

mucks all the way. They are just like slippers. I have a pair with just the plain sole, not much traction, good for the boat. And I have a pair with lug soles that are a little more firm and add stability but also will track debris in the boat with you. And they are warm. A pair of wool socks, under...

Is there a cut off date for sign-up? Can you sign up on Friday at check-in? And do you have to be registered with Champion as an owner? I just bought a used Champ and would like to fish this tourney.

Re: shared Lowrance transducer
Well good luck. The HDS7 is a great unit but a little expensive. The HDS5 is small but you would be suprised at the detail and definition, it's very nice. I would go with that before the LMS 520 because it has broadband sonar built into it which helps get rid of the clutter on screen. I myself would...

Anyone ever have a bench seat re-covered? I am restoring a 94 Champion and replacing the seat would be 700.00 plus 200.00 shipping from a company that makes the champ seats. I ordered the butt seat and fishing chair from them but would like to have the bench recovered locally and be able to match th...

Ask yourself if you really, really need GPS on the front deck. If you don't have GPS at the console the 15 would make a nice unit for that. Then, you put put the new color sonar on the bow and you're good to go. If you absolutely need gps on the bow then my advice to you would be to buy a color sona...

At the wonbass Shasta pro-am I fished with a veterinarian and among the things that I learned from him that day was never "fizz" through the mouth. The way he explained it was that the risk of puncturing the stomach was too high and is much safer to go through the side. I'm not as good as ...

Try this the next time a boat is close enough to talk to.....Hows it goin? Doing any good? Ask them what their intentions are. I almost forgot, I believe you have to splice the wires opposite of each other. Transmit/recieve recieve/transmit. The bare wire splices to the other bare wire.

Re: how do u connect 2 gps units to one antenna
You should have some wires coming out of the power/data cable that are color coded and one bare/ground wire on each unit. Those are Transmit and Recieve wires. They look like phone wires. Splice the units together with those wires. You will need to make one a Master unit (the one with the puck) and ...

I would check to see if your Ranger has a cross brace before you do anything. Some years of the 520 have them right where you would want the tray and it's not a good idea to cut 'em. Re: SomeGuy?
Sometimes, a team that is on a streak will let down their guard, and think "we got this one" and a team like the Lions who are desparate for a win, can capitalize on it. It could happen, and thats when it will happen. On the other hand, I'll keep my money thank you very much.
