Best spinnerbaits for burning.
Smallies round my parts are mainly crushing spinnerbaits burned as fast as the 7:1 can turn. Having a hard time finding blades that will work specifically for this. 3/4 to 1 oz work best. Any suggestions?

I run a 1998 175 EFI Merc and all the buzz is about using these products.
What are the benefits? Could they possibly harm the engine in any way?
How often do you use it?
Looking forward to your input.

I am curious for those of you who fish this rod, do I really need to go to an 853 for T-Rigs? When I pitched worms and jigs, I usually like the same action so I do not have to adjust when picking up another rod. I noticed the 853 has a faster tip. I am pitching 1/4 to 3/4 oz baits. As much as I would love to try a Dobyn's rod, there are none to be located where I live here in Canada. I am going to upgrade my GL3 to either of the rods above. I just went to the tackletour.com review of fluorocarbons and it left me with a lot of questions.
I am curious what everyone uses for their spinning rods and baitcasters. Of course price is a factor but so is quality.
Your thoughts are appreciated.

Re: Does scent make a difference
I use Berkley Gulp on everything in crawfish. I especially spray my frogs...they slide over the slop better and the fish never seem to let go.
I like the old Berkley scent as well in the squeeze bottle. A lot more chunky and seem to hold on to the bait longer.
