For Okeechobee and Tarpon Contact Capt. Cody Davis (954) 871-9976. You can check him out on YouTube at Tight Splice Charters. If you enjoy bass fishing on the Delta you will love a trip with this guy. There are no redfish in and around West Palm Beach, they are pretty scarce until you get up to abou...

A lot of them are up in the spawning areas still, some are still spawning. The bluegills are now spawning and many of the bigger fish are still up in the beds chasing the gills. I am seeing a lot more bluegills than last year so that is good. Maybe try to target those fish in some way that you like ...

All very true. But it seems like the "younger" guys in the field perform more consistently. Strange that Clunn and Elias are mentioned and that they are in the bottom 20 of the standings this year.

I run a Z119c that is a 2013 bought in 2012 and I have been extremely unsatisfied with the rigging and general quality of my boat. This has been the case at all our NorCal lakes the past few years. I would say they simply follow the bait. Wherever the primary winter forage goes if there is not turnover is where I would start looking for the bass. I would rather know how a lack of turnover affects shad, hitch, and the panfish po...

Just remember that Wild West is a 7 fish limit. Look at the weights and you can see it was not wide open. Rising water with color can always temper the bite up there. Don't sweat it too much some very knowledgeable teams struggled.

Don't forget that a lot of rice fields are used by duck hunters and duck season is just getting under way. I know some hunters have to pay money to the farmers for diesel fuel to pump ground water and flood the fields to hunt. So it may not just be the farmers that want the fields flooded.
