Re:Whats wrong with being adressed as John Smith?
Lance, I entered my first pro am as a pro during the last AC event on Oroville. After fishing as an am for several years, AC, Stren, and Bassmaster I finally decided to move to the front of the boat. I, like a lot of anglers went into my first event as a co angler with very high expectations of my b...

Deep, clear clean lake fish are a must in order to avoid the fishy taste. For spots, LM's, striper, and Trout this is my favorite recipe: Filet Dip in an egg wash Dip in seasoned bread crumbs Fry in olive oil till golden brown "cooked" Lightly layer one side with Chili Garlic Sauce Pour a ...

Re: Oroville Pro/Am … Looking for Honest Feedback from Pros
Until this event I had been up to Oroville only two times and that was in the back of the boat. This event marked my pro debut; not knowing the lake at all I fished north one day and then south the next day. I had found fish in both areas, not one day of practice did I boat a fish over two pounds. I...

Hey Chris,
My high school baseball coach used to have us put a hand full of corn kernels in our mouths and then spit them out one at a time while trying to hit them with a broom stick.
Your ice cube idea is great, your son must be one heck of a contact hitter/slugger.

Beware, when fabricating these clips make sure not to make them fit too snug as they can be a bear to get off when it's cold outside.

Today while fishing on the river I was using my new reel which has a bait clicker. I missed several fish that seemed to drop my bait after I allowed them to run with the clicker on. Just curious, when a tackle company comes out with a new product such as these new hooks, do they sometimes give anglers on thier pro staff the signature when little if any input was actually provided by the angler/anglers?

Kings Island is probably the least used between the two. I would caution anyone trying to lauch out of Kings that it's probably one of the worst launches on the Delta. The launch is at a terrible angle and if trying to launch alone, it could be a challenge.

How about instead of transporting fish back to their original location somehow regulating the amount of tournaments held out of specific areas for example 25% N,S,E, and West.
