Shimano Sahara 2500 Spinning Reels
I have 5 Shimano Sahara 2500 Spinning reels, and they are starting to have the same problem of locking up and hard reeling under a load. It seems this is a common problem. I am thinking of replacing them with something else in the 80 to 120$ range. What is your suggestions if you had to get new spin...

Re: Project boat is done!
GREAT JOB !!!!!! Did you really do all that work in the garage??????? My wife would freak out!! I think the icing on the cake is the lights. That is not a boat you would go out and beat up on the delta, it should almost be in a car show or something. Winner all the way.

Optimax vs 4 stroke ??
I am thinking about replacing my 1989 90 hp Mercury outboard with one of the new Merc Optimax or the 4 stroke in the same hp. It is going on a 17ft Skeeter. Pricing is close and all they need to do is install an adapter, I can use my original controlls. I am leaning toward the Optimax. The 4 is a li...

Re: Pic Page: Another Monster Caught Outta Shadow Cliffs...
I knew there would be some issues with the actual size and weight of my bass. All I can say is I did not have a scale with me but a guy that was close by let me use his digital scale. He was fishing in a pontoon boat and is actually the one that took that pic with my cam phone. He had with him a 20l...

Lowrance vs Eagle Depth Finders
Just wanted some info, I am looking into some units for the front of my boat. I was looking at the Eagle 480, the 500c and the Lowrance X96. All are between 199.00 to 380.00. Bass Pro and Cabela's seem to have the best prices. I am looking to use it for dropshotting and wanted to see my bait with th...

striper trolling
The bite seemed to turn on over the weekend for guys trolling bb rebels. I am still not really good at this yet but I am starting to figure it out. I started with 1oz weight to get it down and then went to 2oz and got a 9lb striper. The bbr was white with a red head. I just started to hit bottom the...

Re: Hey Float tubers
I went through several float tubes when I fount the Creek Company ODC 420, and the Trout Unlimited Tojiak. I really love both tubes and use the ODC 420 in the winter, you sit up really high and that will keep you warmer in the winter. The Tojiak I really like in the summer, you have more storage and...

Re: Night fishing safety / other tips...
You will love it, when the sun goes down the bite turns on. Just dont forget your bug spray. Home depot and Wal-Mart both have a head light that you put on and strap it to your hat., it works beter than the ones that clip on to the bill of your hat. There only 14.00 and that will be the best 14.00 y...

Delta swimbait question

Here's the deal, I raised up about 10 to 11 bass that went 7-9 lb range but none of them would eat the bait, they just followed just behind and one looked like he was going to eat it but turned at the last se...

Re: ISE Show

Hay Mike D: If you are close to Waltons Pond I can give you all the lead you want, I have about 200 lb and need to get rid of it. I was poring like a mad man, but not to much now. It is really good quality lead, low temp and clean. E-mail me at rdodds1660@aol if you are interested.
