Make sure your trailer registration is current. It must be renewed every 5 year’s regardless if you get a notice.

2 guys I know of got the $250 ticket. Btw, the renewal is $10!!!l

Yes...but my buddy said he did all he could with the jackplate and it still wasn't enough to get it to balance. An average battery weighs ~60 lbs. The big ones are nearly 80lbs. I would seriously consider Odyssey batteries. They are the only battery with a 4 year warranty and made with new lead. They have more CCA and reserve than any AGM battery on the market. If you can afford it, I would just get the Fortrex. I have had both. The Fortrex is much easier to lift and far more stable when stowed. The locking mechanism of the Fortrex is very secure and does very well in rough water.
