Clear lake help / recommendation needed
I'm booking my first trip to clear lake in June and was hoping for some basic information. I'm wanting to stay around lakeport and looked into Skylark but they're booked. Does anyone have another recommendation for that end of the lake? I'm open to a cabin/cottage as well. Also, I'm wanting to to fi...

I watched numerous "tournament" boats completely ignore the restrictions. Money and bragging rights make guys do funny crap. I will say that the complete lack of postings at launch ramps is neglect on the state/counties. If they don't care enough to post the restrictions then its hard to e...

I always ware a UPF breathable long sleve, hat, glasses and a buff/mask, as well as spf spray. The reflection off the water is nothing to take lightly.
You can always find a good deal on E bay. I've purchased a lot of UPF shirts off there and am very pleased.

Best summer month for clear lake?...
I am planning a trip to clear lake this summer for my "bachelor party." No partying involved, but I would like to time it with a good top water bite.
Which month would you historically say would be best for frogging/topwater? June, July or August?
I appreciate the help.

I installed a Structure Scan HD box with a LSS2 transducer today. I have 2 HDS 7 Gen 2 touch screens. I originally hooked the transducer into the "sonar" input on the HD box. However when I did this I did not get an image or response from the transducer. I switched the transducer to the ba...

Minimal hyacinth from what I have seen.
There is a few areas with grass/primrose to flip/punch.
I was in hog a few weeks ago. The visibility was 6" at best. It was a waste of time for me. It may have cleared up, especially towards the end but I'm not sure.

Fall I throw a shad color, spring is bluegill / crappie and summer a gold shiner color.
