Be patient and keep an eye out. Good deals do come along, they just don't last long. I did know where a used 520 was but don't know if it's sold or not. I'll check tomorrow. Cool alternative to a traditional buzz. That said the wire holding the props is light so when a big fish eats it or takes it into the weeds those wires bend like noodles and take a lot of tuning to get right again. River2sea, stiffer wire on the props.... otherwise its pretty cool. A lot more subtle...

I picked up a Sierra 735 , beautifully made rod but I should have went with a 736 ( for frogging ). The guys at the shop were very helpful and got me going in the right direction.

I'm looking to get a new (used)boat and I contacted my bank and they only finance 50% of the low blue book value of a used boat. That won't cut it.

I have a powell 736 and though it has a lot of upside, the one knock I have on itis that the tip seems a bit too stiff to walk the dog. I struggle with that aspect due to the rod. I do my best not to flip fish into the boat. The exception is if I'm punching or frogging and I need to pull them out of cover quickly, then I will flip them. For me it's location based. Some areas and techniques fish better at high vs low tide & visa versa. I personally like the first few hours of the outgoing tide.
