Re: McDANIELS & JONES TAKE $1255 AT THE FBL SUMMER SERIE

There are just a ton of crazies our there right now. I fished 3 consecutive rock piles in the north fork for about 90 minutes midday. Each rock-outcropping was about 25 yards apart. It would have been extremely easy to just go around those marked hazards. Instead, I watched 3 wake boats and 2 massiv...

Well, since no one responded with more recent data I can tell you I used to have good times fishing out ther in the mid 1990s. It is 5 MPH only if you are within 200 feet of shore. That is what the sign says in very small print. Everyone thinks it is 5 all over, but it is not. I would not have noticed if a ranger did not tell me.

To reiterate, my chioce was Berkley. But your followup question was on length. I prefer 7 footers, for sure. Berkley Series One's are the best rods I have ever used for the price. You can get them for $69 to $89 depending on where you shop and they are extremely light and sensitive. HOWEVER ... I would not recommend them for guides. They do tend to be more brittle than some of their counterparts. The flipp...

Hey guys, that is a great vest and a great price at $120. Buy it. I had SOSpenders and ended up selling them on EBAY as they were heavier and harder to take on and off quickly.

I bought my Mustangs at Marine.com for $150 ... I may buy another at this price. You won't be sorry.
