I'd venture to say that spots don't die at the rate shown, quite the opposite. Every year I catch the same fish caught before and released or broke off. Happens about 2 times every year. Remove baits, hooks, so many times from other fisherman loosing fish. They are very hardy if treated with respect...

I've launched at the spillway every week since bidwell concrete ramp ran out of water, never had any issues. Smaller boat, maybe large boats could have minor issues, but don't think so. Hurry up and cure that concrete at bidwell!!!

Water still coming up nicely, as of yesterday, water at 662.51 ft. making it a 13 foot gain from low water mark. Bet fishing is going to be interesting next week. My guess not so good!! Can hardly wait for this ramp to be fixed up, tired of gravel!

The plan is to extend bidwell ramp with concrete, delayed start, but supposed to begin soon. With the coming weather, they may not be able to extend the ramp if rains keep coming and the lake keeps coming up on levels. Time will tell!!!

Ramp is fine, gravel, not steep, easy in and out. This is from about a month ago. 4wd a must for larger boats, actually required by the state.
