I ordered the replacement fender without the carpeted, wood, guide board that fastens to the inside of the fender. So, I had to drill out the pop rivets from the old board. Contact Ranger with your boat serial number and they will match the colors to the original and ship it to you. Must cheaper than repairing the damaged one. In 2007, price of a new fender was $420. I had the same message and found it to be caused (like Ken said) by a power issue. Mine was a bad connection between the LGC 2000 and the extension cable. Check all you connections and connectors.

The solinoid to lock out the brakes on the Ranger Trailer has a blue wire that connects to a red wire that goes to the trailer plug. Check that connection between those two wires. It is similar to a "butt" connector and the wires could have pulled loose.

I had the same issue with an older engine. The mechanic applied a little lubricant on the shaft and tap on the starter housing with the handle of a screwdriver. Hey Viper-you will not regret installing the recessed foot pedal. Your back will remain in a more vertical position, and consequently, less torque on the spine. I agree with the others that this is a "must" addition to your green Viper.

If you get to the ISE in San Mateo, check out the Blade Runner line of jigs, spin/jigs, large spinnerbaits and spoons. The detail on all the lures is quite impressive, and all have quality hooks. By the way, white is available in all the lures.

You owe it to yourself to give Stan or Ken Vandenburg 1 800 BASS BOAT a call. They are bass fishermen in their own right, have been in the businees many years, and really know their boat. Best of all, they maintain a personal relationship with their clients.
