This coming Sat. I have my first tournament. After you head back from fishing and pull up to the dock do you bag the fish while the boat is still in the water?? I was just watching bassmaster and they had the boat out of the water and were pulling the fish out of the live well. Is this the norm? Tha...

Re: The High Cost of bassfishing
Cost is super high. I run a 03 520 with seven rod set ups going 400.00 each. But that stuff to me is a givin. Those things are my tools I use in this sport.
The problem with me is tackle, gas, oil, insurance, storage. I would say Im spending about 800.00 a month for those things.

How do you guys fish your jigs? Whats your hook up rate? I was fishing Jigs yesterday and cought about 40 fish on them. But I missed a lot of fish. Seems like I have my hook set down pretty well. But it seems like a lot of fish are picking it up and setting it down. I cut the weed guard off and that...

Piece of cake guys! Thanks for the help. My motor didnt have a cotter pin on the prop. It uses a ring right before the nut. Its crazy how much fishing line your prop picks up. I just had the thing serviced and it had a bunch!

I need to change the prop on my 03 opti. 225. The prop is coming in today and my boat is about a hour away so I want to make sure I have the right took before making the trip. Last time I looked at it, it looks like its just a keeper and a large socket. Is this right?

Im making the swap from a Minn kota to a motor guide. I see nothing connected to my Minn Kota but the old owner has a clamp with a transducer on the motor guide. Could my transducer be located somewhere else? I have a 03 ranger 520 with a lowrance on the front deck.
