Take the delta for example! There is a tourney almost every weekennd somewhere on the delta at present time. Now go back to the time when there were 100-120 boats per tourney! Im pretty sure you can still drive out to the ferry but if im not mistaking you have to purchase ferry passes! You might want to check into it before you drive all the out there! I think you can buy the passes at the gas station on the corner of Cypress & HWY 4! Hope this helps. tight lines

Them bass always whack the blades theres two things to try in this situation 1) Use a stinger hook ( I usually only use em in tourneys ) and 2) Try changin the color just a little bit sometimes this can help. It can be blade color also!

And I always carry an extra switch for the trollin motor, pull ropes and pins then if your fishin a tourny or just out fun fishin you can make a quick repair and be on your way. Each of the three items are not that expensive so it pays to just have them on hand versus pullin your boat out of the wat...

The place you mention is actually RHODE ISLAND which is a state refuge. Little mandeville is actually north of rhode island and enter only if you are willing to risk damage to your boat there are rocks just under the surface at most of the openings and depending on the tide it can hurt.

correct me if I am wrong but the qualification process for the elites was anybody from the previuos years tour and the top 20 in points from each of the four opens had the option to enter the elite series and of course the coin to do it.
