Check your local Lucky store...don't know about Sacto/R'ville, but a while back our (Novato/North Bay) Lucky had Hydrate2o on a 10 for $10 special...haven't checked for it lately though.

What kind of music do bass prefer? I have found that crappy as# country music will scare away all the bass. Good old 70's or 80's rock will attract bass. The fish down here at Casitas love Metalica, Zepelin, and AC/DC. Or Skynyrd if the lake lice are around.........."Gimme Back My Bullets"...

Thanks for the link Mark!! I just printed that whole thread to take to my next club meeting. The info contained there applies to most of our Northern lakes too, even Clear Lake. I have seen quite a few fish pulled up out of deep water there that had to be "fizzed" before they were released.

Shag Rock usually produces... Brush Hogs or Big Dead Ringers, T-rigged, June bug or black w/red flake. Haven't been up there at night yet this year, but this has worked well in the past.

Another Bit of Advice....
NEVER, but NEVER, dry-run your motor. As stated earlier, the impeller is hard rubber; and as such, needs water for lubrication. Glad you're home, Gary...hospital food sux (anyway it used to) and I hear hospital Security makes visitors pass thru a Krispy Kreme detector. Like a lot of folks here on the boards have said, this was really an eye-opener for me too. I wear my PFD religiously since I swim about as well as a boulder....

They are still around and still doing good work on behalf of all of us, not just bass fishermen. They are active in trying to get our funds we pay through the Delta stamp released back to the fisheries from the general fund, active in water issues, etc. They also run the release boat for major tourn...
