Just keep them. Somebody will post that they are not as good as the originals and it will be taken as gospel and others will just have to have the originals and pay even more than they are paying now. What about KVD he was dq'd a few years ago for allowing someone to drive his boat why he looked for fish off the front deck. I believe it was in texas somewhere.

I use to live in freezing conditions and would just wrap my lower unit in a good sleeping bag and make sure I drained as much water as possible. I did on occasion wrap it with heat tape when we were in really prolonged cold.

I dont believe anyone will do a pro am on Mohave. Won bass teams and some local club stuff is all I know about. You do have the won bass pro am at Havasu thats not a bad drive.

You might get more bang for your buck fishing proams than trying to run your own boat. If your getting alot of backseats and can afford better pro ams you will learn faster that way than struggling to put gas,expenses and other things into your boat. All you can do about the spot is try to find something that is familiar to what you found in practice. As for learning during a tournament no one pro or amatuer is there to teach, so I don't know what you were looking for learning wise.
