Your paying to work, observation and data collecting. The only benefit is you might learn something.

If there was an opportunity for you to win money from the competition then it would make sense to contribute.

The best second prop would be a 26"P Tropy. They handle well, less chine walk and do better in rough water then the Tempest & Fury. The most efficient and fastest would be a 26 Tempest that has been gone trough or a 25"P Fury. The pad to prop shaft measurement will be different for eac...

Quicksilver is a Mercury brand. They are exactly the same. It does not matter which is used. They both come in the premium and HP. You would need the HP in either label.

You need to measure your prop to pad distance. With the pad and prop shaft/cav plate level measure the prop-shaft to the ground then the pad to the ground and subtract. I doubt you will be able to turn a 24 Fury or 25 Tempest which are about equal. The Fury will have more stern lift then the Temp du...

I would go with a absorbed glass mat (AGM) type. They are more expensive then a regular lead acid but they do not leak and because they are higher quality they usually have more output for a giving size. Optima's are good but are not a real AGM and have wasted space due to the spiral config. There a...

70% sounds very optimistic. Skeeter, Basscat, Legend, Pheonix and the other 8-10 small manufactures only equal 30%. I'm sure that Morris will fix that quickly just like BPS and it will be more like 35% of the market in a few years. As I said in yesterday's BassBlaster, I think the main thing is that...

Voting yes only grows government. Where has voting yes to anything gotten us in the past? Is the cost of living in CA not high enough? Are we so desperate for change that we have become easily manipulated? Voting no is the new yes. No for an improved quality of life.

Over time the gap increases as the center and side wire electrodes erode. As this wear occurs the edges of the electrodes begin to round off. The larger radius on these components requires a higher voltage to bridge the gap. Carbon is a very good conductor and build up on the center ceramic can comp...

Running a higher octane pump gas will not hurt any outboard in anyway. The octane number is the rating of the fuels stability or ability to resist knock.
