The difference is a 5" viewable vs 7" viewable screen, at least that was the deciding factor for me.

Bob the above is my jig stick, however I would get the 7' as well. I use primarily 1/2 and 3/4oz hulas however it fishes the 3/8 - 1oz jigs great.

I prefer the stiff rod for jiggin as it suites my style!
