Re: Best Fluorocarbon line for the money???

The best flouro for the money is Bass Pro Excel Flouro. KVD uses it.
You can buy 1000yds for the same price as three smaller spools of the higher priced flouro, and it fishes the same.

During our morning sign-ups at Lake Casitas last Saturday, some low-life stole the rear seat out of Marvin Barellano's Triton, which was parked in the parking lot. I have a real hard time believing that it was a fellow tournament angler and am more inclined to think that it was some POS walking thr...

Rob, In a former life, I was intimately aquainted with the scum who do this kind of stuff. 99% are looking for a quick, easy hit. You can't defeat the 1% who have a torch, or a cordless sawzall, but I think the boot will make it a lot less desireable. People put alarms in their houses to discourage ...

Murph, I doubt it's a tourney person. There are tons of low life campers and day scroungers at our public lakes. More than likely one of them. Before you drill out the heads of the screws, try to put something under them to catch the screw and nut assembly when it falls. It's not good having loose, sharp ended nuts and bolts rattling around in your hull. They can lodge under something, and wear a hole in the fiberglass hull, or move down a...

It would seem like a perfect fit. BPS already does some T.V. stuff, but a national tournament trail, and all the stuff that goes with it, is a long way from producing a few fishing shows. A successful BASS would surely sell more merchandise. But BPS is already successful, they may figure, if it ain'...

The Mustad Ultra lock Worm Hook, 38105BLN, is perfect for Senkos and Ikas. The point stays sharp, and the reverse bend hold even the soft plastics almost as well as a hitchhiker.
I like offset hooks for worming, and just open the hook a little to make for a better hookset.
