Wow great idea. How bout shrink wrapping them in white and use sharpie markers to make them whatever color you want? Won't chip and should last as long as you can keep it tied on.

Its been covered before but not sure when so why not get it going again....
What are some good dart head baits and when/where do u like to throw them. I have never really used them and hear they can be deadly. Let's hear your thoughts and tips/techniques on using them. Thanks!

I'm with ray on going all bait casters but for my spinning setups I've switched to 20 power pro braid and just use fluoro leaders depending on what or where I'm fishing. Works great, very sensitive and easy to use on any body of water.

Instead of the waterproof socks just get some good water proof boots. Look at cabelas and get some waterproof hunting boots. If you can see them then they can see you. They will be very wary to bite if they know you are there. If you see some back off out of site for like 20 mins then make long casts past them and work it slow. Wacky rig senko would be a good choice.

Hey chris. Ull be real close to lake berryessa and about an hour from the delta. Also 1 1/2 to 2 hours from sonoma and 2hours or so from clearlake. Overall ur in a decent area to hit all the good stuff. You have year round bassin' here since our winters are rather mild. Goood luck!

U should be able to follow the leak up and see where its coming from. Is there a small oil reservoir inside? Id try and trace the leak back to the source before replacing all the hoses and what not.

I like throwing spinnerbaits almost as much as a frog but never have used a trailer hook. Who uses them and what are you using? Any problems with hang ups? Thanks!
