Re: Dwain King-(fisherman's warehouse, Manteca) passes away
Very sad news indeed. It always makes me wonder what we fellow anglers can do to show respect to anglers that pass on. The police officers wear a black ribbon over the badge when an officer of the law dies. I have came up with an idea to show our respect for our fellow anglers that have passed on, t...

Re: Chatterbaits ??
I have had some problems with the older style chatter baits myself. I have since started using the Voo-Doo, it's in the same family as the chatter bait only with much better components. Basically a better mouse trap is the best way to describe the Voo-Doo. They come in all sorts of different colors ...

These questions are all too familiar in the bass fishing tournament world. The FACT is no matter how you do the math the tournament director's do not make out like a bandit like some of you think. When you take into consideration what it costs to put on a show like Anglers Choice does “which is 2n...

Re: Big fish on dropshot??
Josh, For the most part I would say most of the fish you will get drop shotting in reservoirs will be in the 1 1/2 to 3 pound range with an occasional 4-5 pound fish. Here is what I do though. If I'm in an area where fish are feeding on bait fish and are taking my drop shot rig, I will switch up and...

I think I was misunderstood! I'm certainly not saying Ray "Revenge" copied anyone! I'm clearly stating that the Voo-Doo bait did not copy Ray's "Revenge" design of his spinnerbait lead head. It is very similar but also very different. I love both baits and will continue to purcha...

I will throw a brown & Orange jig all year around. However when I am fishing clear water I will throw a brown jig with some blue flake or purple flake in the skirt. To me I don’t think the color is near as important as the presentation and the speed that the jig falls. You can not go wrong wit...

Fishing home town water can be an advantage to you. However normally when you fish a body of water a bunch you tend to get set on one pattern that you know will work for specific times of the year. A "pattern" as we all know can change at the drop of a hat which would be a total disadvanta...
