Except for the kid who jumped off the boat while it was moving it all looked like harmless fun. Yeah they were drinking and partying and those are typically the boats/boaters who end up messing up good fishing water when we are out trying to fish and be quiet, but we can not tell if any of the drive...

Its called the 2% rule. You have to be 2% smarter than the object you are trying to operate. Its ok, I've ripped off a nail or two trying to change em out also.

The 20 percent stretch on 100' of line is the max amount of stretch that line will stretch if it is being pulled on each end (or pulled at one end and attached to an immovable object on the other). I have the same setup in my old Champion, 24v trolling and my cranking battery. I run a 3 bank charger to make sure the cranking battery gets a full charge every time just to make sure I don't have any surprises when I get to the water. Plus I think its better for the life of the battery to keep it ...

When I sold boats I used to just flip the connector around so the fifth wire attached to the first wire on the cars harness and turn on your headlights. Or a socket head fits in nice as well.

Yea thats a no bueno. Those are oil bath bearings which are great cuz they are maintenance free unlike the older grease bearing buddy system, but its a good thing you noticed the leak before driving on it too much because once that oil is gone you have some repairs to make. Try bleeding the system of air and make sure its topped of with oil. It could have an air pocket in the line somewhere so its working super hard and burning up trying to compress the air instead of oil. Good Luck

You spun the hub. I just did the same thing on Sat myself and had the exact same symptoms. What happens is the low end torque required to get all that weight moving is just enough to make it spin but once it gets on plane there is still enough grab to overcome the torque on it and make it run fine. ...

I use the Bionic IM8 rods and love em. Have lasted a long time and caught lots of fish. As for the reels from BPS I have only bought the Jimmy Morris and havn't had any problems with it.

Also try checking the fuse in ur truck. When I used to sell boats I had blown that fuse in my truck cuz one of the boats I had launched had an exposed wire on the trailer harness and caused it to blow. Good luck.

I believe coast guard items include life vests, throw cushion, fire extinguisher, oar and horn. You can probably check online just to make sure i'm not missing anything
