My swimbait fish decided to take a holiday on Friday and did not want to get into the Dobyns boat for a little trip to Bridge Bay. I think this was damn chicken sh** on their part but that is how tournament fishing goes. When I fish a TOC it is to win or lose. I have been lucky enough to win a few, ...

Anyone can have a problem. It is how things are handled after that. I have used the TDA reel that you are having issues with for over a year and a half. Mine were early versions and the lock nut on the handle works loose, no other problems. Send it in to get fixed.

Re: Best reels

I think Daiwa has always had the best spinning reels by far. In casting Shimano had the market cornered for years. Now many companies have great casting reels. If your looking at a reel in the $250 range, you've got to see the new Zillion by Daiwa. They are awesome and have a 6.3 and 7.1 gear ratio ...

Everyone has a little difference of opinion here. Here are my two cents worth. The rod is very important. If you're having a little trouble detecting the bites some of these things will help. A couple of reasons. First, most glass rods are casting models not spinning. I have seen very few spinning. Sure Ken. A Tennessee handle lets you move your reel around to perfectly balance your rod. I think it is much more comfortable than a spinning reel seat. A glass rod with a Tennessee does not sound right to me. Are you sure it's glass? The Tennessee handle is an awesome idea and is used a lot with custom spinning rods.
